Itinerary

Day: Description:
1 BANGKOK:
Arrival transfer to hotel.
2 BANGKOK - SIEM REAP - ANGKOR WAT:
Early start to an adventurous journey from Thailand into Cambodia. We travel by public bus and exciting pick-up trucks to Siem Reap, the home of the Angkor Wat Temple complex. (B)
3 ANGKOR WAT:
A spectacular day of exploration! We rise early for sunrise over Angkor Wat then enjoy a guided tour of the main complex. In the afternoon, we visit Angkor Thom, Bayon, South Gate and the Terrace of the Leper King. The day ends with a visit to the famous Ta Phrom Temple built by Jayavarman VII in the early 12th century. (B)
4 ANGKOR WAT:
A whole free day to further explore Angkor Wat. (B)
5 SIEM REAP - PHNOM PENH:
This morning our adventure in Cambodia continues as we board a local ferry or bus for the five hour journey to Phnom Penh. Afternoon city tour of the National Museum, Wat Phnom, Silver Pagoda and Royal Palace. (B)
6 PHNOM PENH:
This morning we uncover the history of Cambodia’s recent tragic past with a visit to Tuol Sleng - the former Khmer Rouge torture centre. The visit will also include the Killing Fields at Choeung Ek. Free afternoon.
7 HO CHI MINH CITY:
Board the local bus from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in Vietnam. Tour ends on arrival.
