Arrive in Beijing and explore her fascinating backstreets by rickshaw, where you will get to meet a local family for lunch in their home and see an age-old ritual at the Drum Tower. Fly a kite at the Temple of Heaven, toboggan down the Great Wall at Mutianyu and watch an exciting kung fu show. |

Xian:
Take an exciting overnight train to Xian, home of the 2,000 year-old Army of Terracotta Warriors. Not only will you spend time at the Warriors’ excavation site, but you can also make memories in the colourful Muslim Quarter and pagodas, enjoy delicious local dumplings, walk the ancient city walls and walk along Calligraphy Street. |

Guilin & Yangshuo:
Cruise down the Li River past beautiful limestone mountains to Yangshuo, where the locals will teach you to paint traditional landscapes and perform the ancient art of Tai Chi. You can also cycle through the beautiful rice paddies. This is a relaxing, naturally beautiful pocket of China that has inspired artists for centuries and remains an inspirational destination for pilgrims from across the Middle Kingdom. |
