Itinerary

Day: Description:
1 Nairobi:
See this cosmopolitan capital.
2 Lake Naivasha:
Try wildlife spotting from a different perspective, approaching game on foot like a tribesman on Crescent Island, the impressive rim of a crater submerged in Lake Naivasha.
3 Hell's Gate National Park:
With luck, rare leopards and baboons might be seen while walking beneath the craggy columns and towering cliffs in this peaceful park.
4 Mount Longonot:
Lace up your sturdiest boots - the climb to the scenic summit of Mt Longonot is challenging but the panorama from the top makes it well worth it.
5-6 Masai Mara:
Experience the best of the African savannah on game drives through the Masai Mara, which teems with the country's most iconic wildlife.
7 Walking in the Masai Mara:
Wander through Masai villages and be humbled by the simple lifestyles of this ancient warrior tribe.
8 Maji Moto to Olorien:
It's a challenging trek to Maji Moto, where steamy springs in the foothills will cook an egg in a matter of minutes.
9 Olorien to Naro Osura:
Pass a salt lake on today's long hike, where strikingly tall, graceful Masai men group their precious cattle along the shores.
10-11 Naro Osura to Entasopia:
Traverse the emerald fields of the Entasopia Valley and walk along mountain ridges before pitching tents on the picturesque Entasopia River.
12 Entasopia Valley to Kalema/ Nairobi:
Clamber up the forested slopes of the Nguruman Escarpment for breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. Have a good last look before returning to civilisation.
