International Youth Identity Cards (IYIC)
The Card:
The International Youth Travel Card (IYTC) is the essential travel card designed specifically for youth that are 25 years of age or younger, and are not full-time students. Since the card's establishment in 1975, over 300,000 youth a year have benefited from IYTCs great savings.
Eligibility:
Those who are not full-time students, but who are under the age of 26. You must be a minimum age of 12 and a resident of the United States to apply.

The IYTC (only when purchased in the U.S.) provides basic accident and sickness insurance for travel outside of the U.S., including hospital stays, accident medical expense, emergency evacuation, accidental death and dismemberment, repatriation of remains, passport protection and baggage delay insurance. Where Do I Get an IYTC?
It's easy! IYTCs are available at all Adventure Travel Company offices and Study Abroad offices. You can even print a copy of the application form and fill it out in advance.
The cost is $22 (including taxes) + $3 shipping & handling.
 PLEASE NOTE: If you purchase an Adventure Travel Company special fare that requires an IYTC, you will need your IYTC at the time of boarding your flight. If you don't have your IYTC with you, the airline may deny you boarding. If you are eligible, you can still book a youth fare even if you don't yet have the IYTC.
