Arrive Johannesburg
Arrive in Johannesburg at any time. |

Pilgrims Rest
Head east towards Mpumalanga through a landscape characterized by mountains, panoramic passes, valleys, rivers, waterfalls and forests. Camp the night in the old gold rush town of Pilgrims Rest. |

Kruger National Park
Big game country where exciting game drives provide excellent game viewing. Spot lion, elephant, rhino and other animals in the African wilderness. |

Inhambane
The journey continues to Mozambique. Pass through the Old European settlement of Inhambane haunted by the memories of the old slave trade along the coast. |

Praia do Bilene
Leave the beach paradise and travel south to Bilene, on the shores of the Uembje lagoon. The lagoon is an ideal spot for swimming or beach games. |

Maputo
Travel further south to the countries capital, Maputo, and explore this fascinating city that has a definite Latin flare to it. |

Kingdom of Swaziland
Journey to Swaziland where you have the opportunity to go horse riding, mountain biking, trailing, game viewing or visiting a Swazi Village. |

Zululand
Today re-enter South Africa and travel to St Lucia on the coast. Visit the Umfolozi Game Reserve which is a safe haven for both the white and black rhino and contains the rest of the big five. |

Durban (B,L)
Drive to Durban to enjoy the sandy beaches and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. |
| 15-16 |
Drakensberg Mountains
Depart early for a two-night stay in the spectacular Drakensberg Mountain range. Soak up the sun by relaxing at the swimming pool or enjoy optional activities. |
| 17-18 |
Wild Coast
Leave the Southern Drakensberg for a scenic drive to Port Edward. Pass through Mooi River, an area home to several of South Africa's finest stud farms. The next day, carry on towards the Eastern Cape. |

Addo Elephant National Park
Addo, the valley of elephants and roses lies in the Lower Sundays River Valley, stretching from the Indian Ocean to the Zuurberg Mountains. |

Tsitsikamma
Visit the Tsitsikamma National Park. Next day, relax on the beach (weather permitting), or enjoy the day doing some shopping. For the more adventurous, optional activities include abseiling, sea kayaking, mountain biking, and bungee jumping. |

Karoo
Travel over the Outeniqua Mountains into the Little Karoo. In Oudtshoorn visit the Cango Caves and take an optional tour of an ostrich farm where the more adventurous can ride one of these huge birds. |

Stellenbosch
Today visit Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa. Enjoy a day of wine tasting, and wine buying and sip more than our great South African wines – taste the South African way of life. |

Cape Town
Drive to Cape Town, the "mother city", where you can climb Table Mountain or take the cable car. Spend the afternoon catching up on last-minute curio shopping or just lazing on the beach absorbing the Cape's sunshine. |
