Fiji Explorer (ITR) |
| Duration: |
8 Days |
| Cost: |
$1,300 USD |
"This trip is an affordable way to enjoy and experience Fiji. It combines a journey around the main island of Viti Levu, highlighting Fiji’s multi-faceted culture and including activities such as trekking and biking, with a boat trip out to the gorgeous Yasawa islands for a relaxing stay at a simple island resort. You’ll have the opportunity to observe Fijian daily life as you travel by local bus and private minibus and attend a traditional sevu sevu ceremony – with a chance to participate and try kava (a very “interesting” beverage)! Suva, the capital of Fiji, presents the most obvious mingling of the many diverse ethnicities that make up Fiji’s population and offers a variety of things to see and do. The Yasawa islands are picture-perfect tropical paradises with lovely white sand beaches and beautiful underwater scenery. At the end of your trip, you’ll no doubt conclude that the physical beauty of Fiji is matched by the warmth and charm of its people – it is a very special place!"
